There is no veto on any electoral formula which has been presented," "Future" parliamentary bloc member MP Atef Majdalani told "Voice of Lebanon' radio on Thursday, stressing that the hybrid law is the most appropriate so far.
Majdalani said that the hybrid electoral law secures fair representation for all parties, contributes to safeguard coexistence formula and preserves the constants of Al-Taef Accord.
The MP stressed that "work is ongoing to accomplish a new electoral law before 15 May 2017," noting that the cabinet's works must not be put aside in order to reach an electoral law.
Commenting on the night meeting between the representatives of "Free Patriotic Movement" ,"Future", "Amal" and "Hizbullah", Majdalani noted that it is part of the continuous communications among the political components, underscoring that "communications are not limited to a certain place or committee."
