Kuwaiti security forces raided two houses in Saad Al-Abdulla district owned by the brother of a Kuwaiti national who was arrested in Philippines over suspicion of affiliation to Daesh terrorist group, the Kuwaiti newspaper al Anbaa reported, quoting security sources.
Explosives were found in the first house, the sources said, noting that efforts are underway to tighten the net around another Daesh suspect who is likely to be affiliated to the Philippine cell.
A Kuwaiti security team headed for Philippines to bring the Kuwaiti Daesh suspect back home and resume investigations with him, a well-placed source told the paper.
