The National Dialogue visions has heralded a new era for an inclusive nation embracing all people. “These visions cement national unity and promote Bahrain’s internal political, social, economic and legal construction”, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa said. In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), he said that the National Dialogue visions draw up a far-reaching and multi-dimensional blueprint for the future, crediting citizens’ collective consciousness for the yielded achievements. He paid tribute to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for taking the initiative to promote national work, lauding his wise and modern visions which map the future that reflects citizens’ aspirations and hopes and translate them into constitutional and legal articles that embody the climate of democracy and openness prevailing in Bahrain. He also took pride in Bahraini society, hailing its deep-rooted patriotic heritage and cultural and civilizational milestones. “Today we stand at the threshold of a new era in the march of the national action, building on the National Dialogue visions which have been endorsed by popular will”, he said. “We will overcome all challenges facing the march of development and prosperity thanks to our sincere intentions and national unity”, he added. Despite the challenges which faced Bahrain, he said, HM the King’s strong will and sincere resolve and loyal people’s unity under the banner of the nation and its leadership proved even stronger. HRH the Premier said tangible steps would be taken to integrate the National Dialogue recommendations in the Government’s work programme, stressing his keenness to bolster progress strides, for Bahrain to overcome the detrimental repercussions resulting from recent unrest. “The National Dialogue fruitful results prove that Bahrain is embarking on the right track amid understanding and coordination between all social components”, he said, describing the visions as a quantum objective leap. He pointed out that the implementation of the recommendations would lay solid foundations for the national work, thus paving the way for more landmark achievements based on sincere national understanding that puts Bahrain’s future on top of all priorities. HRH the Premier pledged the Government’s cooperation with the legislative authority to take necessary constitutional and legal measures to implement the visions which require legislative amendments. “The Government has already taken a string of decisions to implement the recommendations of concern to its respective ministries and departments”, he said, urging all parties to prove responsible and strong-willed as Bahrain embarks on the path of construction and development for the Kingdom’s fledgling and nascent democracy to flourish. HRH the Premier paid tribute to the ministerial committee in charge of following up the National Dialogue recommendations, chaired by Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa. “The panel has assumed its work with great dedication, achieving people’s aspirations”, he said.
