: A OMR1000 logo competition has been launched by the Ministry of Justice, officials posted on Wednesday.
The competition challenges people and companies to design a logo for the E-Justice program (tawtheeq).
“The logo should symbolize or reflect the objectives and specialty of the Ministry of Justice and the E-Justice Program. The logo should include a sign to the term “tawtheeq” in both Arabic and English,” the statement said.
Other details include submitting a logo that has a high degree of clarity, and that it should be presented in a simple, creative and clear way. A brief explanation should be enclosed with the logo.
“The colours used in the design should not exceed three, so as to portray the concept and be of an expressive meaning,” the statement said.
Participants can submit up to four different logos as part of the competition, and must submit them in coloured and plain A4 cardboard paper, CD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
“If required by the Ministry, the winner is obliged to perform the demanded changes upon the logo,” the statement added.
Officials also warned that the logo must not be similar to other logos and designs previously published or submitted to another party whether inside or outside the Sultanate.
“The logo should be in 3D. The rights of the winning design belong to the Ministry of Justice in return for the announced reward.”
The final date for receiving logo designs is by the end of Sunday, 21st May 2017. Submissions should be in sealed envelopes to the director of the IT Department at the Ministry of Justice.
The winner will receive a 1000 Omani Rial prize for the logo.
