Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh on Wednesday welcomed the Syrian government''s approval of an Arab League plan presented by the arab ministerial committee assigned to resolve the crisis in Syria and which is headed by HE Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani. Speaking at an Arab Foreign Ministers meeting in Cairo, Judeh voiced hope that the plan would help in restoring security and stability in Syria, ending bloodshed, and implementing required reforms to preserve Syria''s role and avoid any foreign interference in its internal affairs. The minister hailed the Arab League''s efforts to find a way out of the status quo in Syria within an Arab framework. The Arab League said on Wednesday the Syrian government had approved an Arab plan for dialogue with the opposition and steps to end seven months of bloodshed. The Aarab League emphasized the need for the immediate, full and exact implementation of the articles stated in the plan. (QNA) MD
