Interior Minister Salamah Hammad emphasized on Monday the need for opening up broader prospects for Jordanian-Saudi relations and expanding bilateral cooperation in various domains, including public security.
In a meeting with the Saudi Prince Khaled bin al Waleed bin Talal, Hammad looked into ways to take advantage of the Saudi expertise in the field of traffic regulation, Petra News Agency reported on Monday.
The Saudi Prince said that the projects overseen by his company in Jordan are being implemented in partnership with various Jordanian ministries and institutions.
He said expertise in both Jordan and Saudi Arabia must be imparted to each other, especially that both Kingdoms enjoy outstanding relations and have plenty in common that would help establish ventures.
