The Integrated Transport Centre, ITC, at the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport in Abu Dhabi, has announced the development and enhancement of bus network services in Abu Dhabi City and Al Ain, and their suburbs. New services have been added, some modified and others cancelled.
The new services will be implemented starting from 10th February, 2017.
Khaled Mattar Al Mansori, Bus Office Division Director, said that the changes have been planned to provide sustainable and integrated solutions to bus networks in order to create a safe and modern bus service.
Mr. Al Mansori also said that the modifications were put in place after a variety of studies that aim to enhance the bus network and its infrastructure in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Such efforts, he continued, offer consumers the privilege of low cost transportation and the availability of bus services, in addition to health, safety and environmental benefits
