An international conference on refugees in the Middle East, currently underway in Amman, urged the international community to help Jordan in shouldering major burdens arising from a massive influx of refugees on its territory.
Participants in the second edition of the “Refugees in the Middle East: Human Security…International Community Obligations and Host Communities’ Role” conference said Jordan holds major pressure on its natural resources and infrastructure because of consecutive refugee inflows.
They speakers, who included the Iraqi, Australian and Turkish ambassadors, agreed that the Syrian refugee crisis in a global issue that must be addressed by the whole world and all must work for resolving this crisis.
