His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, emphasized that the visit of by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Monarch of the Kingdom of Bahrain, to the friendly Kingdom of Thailand has boosted the solid bilateral cooperation relations between the two friendly countries, and facilitated further leaps in the Bahrain-Thai cooperation relations in the economic, investment and trade spheres through the activation of agreements signed between both countries in various fields. HRH the Prime Minister welcomed the anticipated visit of Her Excellency the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Bahrain and her role in opening new horizons of cooperation between both friendly countries. HRH the Prime Minister made these remarks as he received this morning the friendly Kingdom of Thailand's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Vichai Varasirikul, at HRH the Prime Minister's court. During the meeting, HRH the Prime Minister expressed high confidence that these relations proceed at the highest levels amid the exchanging of visits by top officials of both countries which pave the way for unification of cooperation efforts especially pertaining to matters of mutual interest and add to the solid bilateral relations. HRH the Prime Minister expressed appreciation towards the keenness on the part of the government of Thailand on extending bridges of cooperation and coordination between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Kingdom of Thailand, and praised the successful economic, investment and trade cooperation relations thanks to the excellent relations and mutual interest of both governments on strengthening these relations and in the light of their commitment to boosting the successful cooperation relations. On the other hand, the Kingdom of Thailand's Ambassador in the Kingdom of Bahrain expressed his country's appreciation towards HRH the Prime Minister's interest in developing the excellent Bahrain-Thai cooperation relations and praised the role of HRH the Prime Minister in developing these relations.
