His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today HRH Prince Fahad bin Abdulla bin Jalawi Al Saud, the General Supervisor of Administrative and Technical Development at the Emirate of Eastern Province in Saudi Arabia.
HRH the Prime Minister stressed the solid brotherly ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, noting that the depth of bilateral relations has paved the way for strengthening the fruitful bilateral cooperation march at all levels.
"The Bahraini-Saudi relations have been strengthened throughout history, and we will continue building on what had been achieved by the fathers and forefathers for the sake of our brotherly countries and peoples," he said.
The Prime Minister lauded the pivotal role played by Saudi Arabia since the era of the late Founder King Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace, until the current era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
HRH Premier also commended the effective role played by Saudi Arabia in safeguarding the security and stability of Arab and Islamic countries, and strengthening their ability to face various challenges.
HRH the Prime Minister praised Saudi King's Asian tour, and the recent visit of the Saudi Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud to the US, noting that their outcomes will benefit Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
Prince Fahad expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his constant interest in bolstering the fraternal Bahraini-Saudi relations and cooperation at all levels.
He lauded the Prime Minister's wise visions aimed at enhancing rapprochement among GCC and Arab peoples and countries.
He praised the Premier's in-depth vision vis-à-vis the situation in the region, and his call for the need to step up collective action to maintain the gains and achievements of the region's peoples in various fields.
