His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at the Akasaka Palace this evening the Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Mr. Yukio Edano. During the meeting, HM the King confirmed the importance of bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom and Japan in the economic and industrial fields, stressing Bahrain's keenness to strengthen its relations with Japan further in order to achieve the desired goals of both countries. On his part, the Japanese Minister expressed his satisfaction with the advanced level of bilateral cooperation, expressing hope that HM the King's visit will upgrade them further. Following the meeting, HM the King attended the signing ceremony of Cooperation Agreement in the fields of economy, industry and energy. Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Abdulla Fakhro and Energy Minster Dr. Abdul Hussein bin Ali Mirza signed the agreement on behalf of the Kingdom of Bahrain, while Japan's Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Mr. Yukio Edano signed it on behalf of the Japanese side. Another Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and SBI Pharmaceuticals Co. It was signed by Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa on behalf of the kingdom and Mr. Yukio Edano on behalf of Japan. WHQsigning another agreement of cooperation between Bahrain Defense Force and the Japanese Pharmaceuticals Company SBI, signed by Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa from Bahrain and the Japanese Minsiter Mr. Edano.
