Palestine's Islamic resistant Movement (Hamas) Friday described Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mishaal's talks with King Abdullah II of Jordan on Thursday as "fruitful". Izzat al-Rishq, one of Hamas's politburo members, said today that both sides reviewed the latest updates of the Palestinian issue and the attributes of the reconciliation process between Palestine and Israel. According to Jordan's news agency (Petra), King Abdullah told Mishaal during the meeting that Jordan was striving to arrive at a comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, the core of conflict in the region. He added that Jordan will continue its support to the Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip to ease their suffering through providing them with every possible assistance . Meanwhile, Hamas Politburo Chief said the meeting came as both sides were looking forward enhancing their bilateral relations in all fields. Mishaal went on an official visit to Jordan on Thursday, heading a delegation of Hamas top officials, including Hamas's politburo deputy chief Musa Abu Marzook, and other politburo members, Mohamed Nezal, Mohammed Nasr, and Izzat al-Rishq.
