The Health Authority Abu Dhabi, HAAD, has authorised the issuance of birth certificates for newborns on-site at Al Noor Hospitals.
An agreement was signed yesterday between the two sides by Helal Al Muraikhi, HAAD’s Director of Customer Care and Corporate Communication Division, and Dr. Tarek Fathey, Chief Operating Officer of Mediclinic Middle East and Al Noor Hospitals Group.
Al Muraikhi said, "Linking up private hospitals to the system reflects HAAD’s belief in the key role that private healthcare facilities play in the provision of healthcare services in the emirate. Through this ongoing partnership with healthcare facilities, we continue to work diligently to improve the speed of access to our services for higher customer satisfaction."
Dr. Fathey added, "We are delighted to be linked to HAAD’s electronic system for the issuance of birth certificates, a process which is certainly more efficient and convenient for parents."
