Emiri Guard Commander Major General Hazza bin Khalil Al Shahwani and Kuwaiti Emiri Guard Commander Brigadier Fahad Abdulrahman Al Zaid attended the closing ceremony of the joint exercise Gulf Falcon 2 between the Qatari Emiri Guard and the Kuwaiti Emiri Guard. The exercise was held at Barzan Camp and came to a close today.
Today's closing ceremony was attended by Emiri Guard Deputy Commander, Emiri Guard Inspector General, assistants of Emiri Guard Commander, a number of commanders and officers, Kuwait military attache and officers of Kuwaiti Emiri Guard.
Head of the joint exercise Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Fadel Al Kaabi said that the exercise was a complimentary of the joint exercise Gulf Falcon 1 which was organized by Kuwaiti Emiri Guard last year, stressing that such exercises are beneficial to both sides through the exchange of experiences and building a spirit of cooperation and closer ties between the participants.
He pointed out that the two-week training exercise focused on a set of postulated scenarios and training methods developed carefully in order to provide participants with new military skills, adding that the exercise aims to raise combat efficiency and improve training methods.
In conclusion, the Emiri Guard Commander and Kuwaiti Emiri Guard Commander honored the participants, appreciating their efforts during the exercise.
