Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil el Arabi will meet on Thursday with a delegation from the Syrian National /opposition / Council before the Emergency Arab Ministerial meeting is held the same day evening , an Arab League source said here Monday. This will be el Arabi's second meeting with the Syrian National opposition Council, after he held a previous meeting on Sunday according to the arab league Assistant Secretary General Wajih Hanafy, who is also Head of the Secretary General's Office. Wajih Hanafy went on to say that both sides will discuss the conclusions of the meeting of all Syrian opposition in Geneva, which will take place later today. The opposition will also discuss the Annan Syria plan during the meeting, Hanafy said adding that the opposition will also discuss the UN Security Council's resolution no. 2043 to establish supervision mission of the agreed ceasefire. El Arabi will also visit China on May 3, Hanafy announced. The Arab League Secretary General will use his visit to discuss the latest developments in the Syrian crisis with Chinese officials, since China was one of the key players in the Security Council. Afterwards, el Arabi will pay a two-day visit to Algeria in order to discuss the latest developments in Syrian and Sudan with Algerian President Abdelaziz Boutafleika.
