Minister of Human Rights and Social Developments, Dr. Fatima bint Mohammad Al Balooshi praised all efforts aiming at restoring national unity among people of the Kingdom of Bahrain and halting the sectarian slide, adding that it is the responsibility of governmental and private institutions together with the Ministry of Human Rights to achieve such noble goal. In response to a question by MP Mahmoud Yousef Al Mahmoud during today’s Parliament session regarding the Ministry’s plan to restore the national unity, she said that the Ministry has recently launched, in cooperation with (NGOs), a national campaign named (Unity Unity). Dr. Fatima explained that (Unity Unity) campaign aims at supporting the values of national unity, citizenship, social relations and co-existence among various Bahraini communities, she added that the campaign has been carried out by (NGOs) and a large number of volunteers in the Kingdom under the supervision and support of the Ministry, urging all civil community institutions and Governmental bodies in the Kingdom to participate and cooperate to make forthcoming campaigns and programs successful order to restore the nation unity.
