Bahrain has strongly condemned "the terrorist bombing that took place in central Sinai Peninsula, killing a number of soldiers including three officers from the Egyptian military forces."
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs offers its heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs, affirms Bahrain’s solidarity with Egypt in confronting all sorts of violence, extremism and terrorism and vows support for its incessant endeavours to reinforce security and stability across Egypt," the ministry said in a statement.
"The ministry reiterates Bahrain’s unflinching position in renunciation of terrorism, calling for close international coordination and cooperation to deracinate this dangerous plague and treat its root causes to reinforce world peace and security and realize all peoples’ aspirations for development and prosperity."
