The Lebanese President, Michel Aoun, asserted that the United Nations General Assembly resolution on al-Quds (Jerusalem) is a victory for the Palestinian Arab right, calling for adhering to international legitimacy resolutions and not taking any unilateral procedures opposing this resolution.
Aoun, in a speech before his visitors in presidential palace in Baabda on Friday, hailed the voting by majority in favor of the resolution that calls the USA to cancel its recognition of al-Quds as the capital of the Israeli occupation entity, saying that the 35 countries which abstained from voting have betrayed justice and history will remain a witness on that.
