The Arab Labor Organization (ALO) and the Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce signed a memorandum of understanding on coordination over issues of common interest as well as exchange of information, documents and statistics pertaining to the labor market, investment and Arab information networks.
The MOU was signed by ALO Director General Fayez al-Mutairi and Acting Secretary General of the Union of Arab Chambers Shahin Ali Shahin.
The MOU will help outline priorities of the Arab labor market with the aim of helping business organizations and entrepreneurs achieve the goals of employment and sustainable development for 2030.
It will also help formulate strategies for developing plans and methods of vocational training, technical education in order to cope up with the needs of the labor market.
