His Majesty the King’s Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs and Board of Trustees Chairman of Bahrain Centre for Strategic and International Studies and Energy Dr. Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar met in New York Dr. Richard Haass President of the Council on Foreign Relations today. During the meeting establishing a cooperative relations with the Council were discussed, and ways to leverage the scientific expertise of U.S. strategy in similar areas of Bahrain’s Center for Strategic and International Studies and Energy. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar briefed about the programs and the Center’s future projects, as he presented a briefing of the internal developments in Bahrain and the reasons behind the crisis, which he said were influenced and fomented by the strategic conflict in the Arabian Gulf that extended to Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Turkey.
