As many as 422 Egyptians returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours, said Marsa Matrouh Security Chief Mokhtar el Senbary.
Out of all the returnees, 335 Egyptians left the country legally and 87 illegally, he noted in statements on Monday.
Travel procedures for 1,201 people, including 335 Egyptians and 866 Libyans, have been finalized, Senbary added.
As many as 142 empty trucks arrived via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours to be loaded with Egyptian commodities.
