As many as 247 Egyptians returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours, said Marsa Matrouh Security Chief Mokhtar el Senbary on Monday.
Out of all the returnees, 198 Egyptians left the country legally and 49 illegally, he noted in statements.
Travel procedures for 668 people, including 241 Egyptians and 428 Libyans, have been finalized, Senbary added.
As many as 67 empty trucks arrived via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours to be loaded with Egyptian commodities.
