Two Arab expatriates were arrested on charges of drug trading. Information was received concerning the two men and they were kept under observation. An undercover agent approached them to buy a piece of hashish. At the time of delivery they were caught with marked money which they had exchanged with the secret agent for the piece of hashish. After searching their house, police found half a kilogram of hashish. They confessed to the crime and said they obtained the hashish from another person. They said they had a male Kuwaiti partner, who was caught. After searching his house, police found another half a kilogram of hashish. The three men were sent to the concerned authorities. Suspicious death Security sources received a report that a woman fell in the toilet of her house in Mubarak Al-Kabeer. Security men and a medical emergency team responded to the report and transported the woman to Adan Hospital. She was dead on arrival. The report indicated that the woman fell on her head. A Ministry of Interior investigator suspected criminal acts could be behind the death of the woman. Therefore, he registered a case of suspected crime and informed criminal investigators. The body was sent to verify the cause of death and whether there is a crime or not. Hit and run case A 48-year-old Bangladeshi expat was run over by a speeding car while attempting to cross the street in Sulaibikhat opposite KFC. He was fatally injured and fractured his left hand. Paramedic staff who reached the spot in response to an emergency call admitted him to Al Sabah hospital. Car accidents A car accident took place along Arabian Gulf road opposite Al-Shaab, resulting in a 41-year- old Georgian woman sustaining injuries, and a 23-year- old citizen suffering a shoulder dislocation. Both were admitted to Amiri hospital. In another incident, a car accident took place in Fahaheel road opposite Al-Hadi hospital, severely injuring an 18-year- old man. He was admitted to Mubarak hospital.
