The General Administration of the Fire Department said on Wednesday that 12 people were injured, among them children, in a fire which broke out in a house at Al-Subahiya area earilier in the day.The fire department said all the injured were taken to hospital for receiving medical treatment.The Deputy Director of the Fire administration and development of human resources Brigadier Yosef Al-Ansari told KUNA that the administration's firefighters rushed immediately to the site.Al-Ansari added that fire was clearly visible on the first floor of the house."Firefighters were able to control the situation, evacuate those who were trapped and injured inside the house, some of those injured had level two to three burns degree," Al-Ansari said, adding ambulances rushed those injured to hospital.The official called on citizens and residents alike to never stack flammable substances in sealed off area, while calling for not locking house doors where children are inside.
