Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Al-Sabeeh stressed that people with disabilities are in "good hands" and the government will open their doors to help their community.
Al-Sabeeh, who is also Minister of State for Development, made this remark during Monday's National Assembly session dedicated to discuss matters of the disabled.
The minister assured that "we will do our best to fulfil the requirements of people living with disabilities" because they are still an integral part of the society.
She pointed out that the ministry will exert all efforts to eliminate hardships that are facing this segment; however, she emphasized that it will take "time, finances and human resources." Al-Sabeeh expressed appreciation to all non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that have been on daily contact with the ministry regarding thier affairs.
