Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab has said Egypt is studying a request by the Arab Sports Council (ASC) to host the Pan Arab Games 2015 after Lebanon has withdrawn its bid.
Mahlab's statements came after he met with ASC Chairman Prince Talal bin Bandar bin Abdel-Aziz and his accompanying delegation currently visiting Cairo.
Lebanon withdrew its bid due to security concerns, Prince Talal told the reporters, noting that he made the request for Egypt's PM.
