Sixty-one rebels have been killed in newest military operations across Afghanistan, Khaama Press announced quoting a Ministry of Interior statement released on Sunday.
According to the statement, the operations were carried out jointly by Afghan National Security Forces in Kandahar, Zabul, Oruzgan, Helmand, Takhar, Kunduz, Faryab, Sar-e-Pul, Kapisa, Maidan Wardak, Paktiya, and Herat provinces in past 24 hours.
The statement added that 61 militants were killed and 28 others wounded in these operations.
