Five insurgents were killed and five others arrested during joint security operations by International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and Afghan Forces in different provinces of Afghanistan within the past 24 hours. ISAF said that they have launched five security operations in different provinces of Afghanistan, killed five insurgents and arrested five others including a commander in Haqqani Network. These operations took place in Khost, Kandahar, Logar and Nangarhar provinces. During the operations, the forces confiscated different types of weapons. ISAF did not provide any details about casualties among Afghan security forces during the operations.
