A Palestinian young man was killed on Monday by Israeli fire during confrontations in the West Bank City of Hebron, medical sources said.
Palestinian Red Crescent sources said that Monir Badareen, 22, was killed during confrontations between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian stone throwers.
The sources said that Badareen was moderately injured in the leg, but the Israeli soldiers prevented ambulances from evacuating him, leaving the young man bleed to death.
Two more Palestinians were injured during clashes, according to the sources.
Badreen is the first Palestinian to get killed by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank since Israel started its Operation Protective Edge in the Gaza Strip.
At least 172 Palestinians and more than 1,000 others were injured during the operation.
