An Israeli wounded in an October 13 Palestinian attack on a Jerusalem bus died of his wounds on Tuesday, the city's Hadassah hospital said in a statement.
It said that Richard Lakin, 76, was shot in the head and stabbed in the chest in the attack in the Armon Hanatziv neighbourhood in which two other Israelis died and several were injured.
He becomes the ninth Israeli killed so far since simmering tensions over the status of the Al-Aqsa mosque compound in Jerusalem's Old City boiled over in early October.
Fifty-six Palestinians and an Israeli Arab have been killed in attacks, attempted attacks and clashes with Israeli forces.
