Israeli occupation forces arrested Thursday four Jerusalemites after raiding their homes in Wadi Joz and occupied the old city of Jerusalem.
Head of relatives of Jerusalemite prisoners Amjad Abu Assab said Israeli troops arrested Ahmad Sharabati (14 years), Khaled Malhas (16) and Mohamed Bojah (19) after storming their homes in the old city. They also arrested Saleh Sandouqa from Wadi Joz.
He added that the arrested Jeruselimtes were transferred to Al-Qashla and Salaheddin police centres and later to Al-Maskoubiya interrogation centre where they appeared before judge of the Israeli Arbitration Court to consider an extension of their detention.
Abu Assab expected that the coming days would see a campaign of arrests among Jerusalemites to coincide with the Jewish "Easter" holiday, which begins in early April.
The Israeli court released on Wednesday Jerusalemites Somayya Taha and Rawand Abbasi unconditionally.
