Israeli naval forces detained two Palestinian fishermen off the coast of the besieged Gaza Strip on Thursday morning, Palestinian security forces said.
Gaza naval police said in statement that Israeli forces detained Khader al-Saadi and Rajab Abu Mayala, both residents of the al-Shati refugee camp, while they were sailing three nautical miles from the shore of Gaza City.
Gaza police added that Israeli forces also confiscated the fishermen's boats and equipment. An Israeli army spokesperson told Palestinian News Agency (Ma'an) that they were looking into the reports.
