The Ongoing Israeli military onslaught on the Gaza Strip had led to the injury of 22 people, said Palestinian sources Tuesday.
A security source in Gaza said that air strikes by the Israeli air force had caused considerable amount of property damages as well as several injuries amongst the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip.
The source accused the Israelis of targeting innocent civilians rather than what Israel claims that the air strikes were mainly focusing on elements and bases belonging to several Palestinian military factions namely Hamas.
Meanwhile, the Israel army said that several rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip earlier today, hitting cities such as Ashkelon and other towns in southern Israel.
Israeli is trying to intercept the continuous flow of rockets launched from Gaza with the Iron Dome, a mobile all-weather air defense system, working at full capacity.
Further on the reaction to the recent happening in Gaza, Israel had announced a state of emergency in areas and towns located near the Gaza Strip.
According to Israeli radio, citizens were advised to head to shelters due to the recent security escalation in the region adjacent to Gaza.
Meanwhile, Ismail Haniyeh, deputy chief of Hamas political portfolio, called on Palestinians to face the Israeli aggression by uniting.
In a statement distributed earlier here, Haniyeh called on Palestinians to unite politically and on the field to confront Israeli unjust policies.
