Israeli forces Monday arrested five Palestinians in the West Bank districts of Bethlehem and Jenin, whereas Israeli police arrested three in Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club (PPC).
It said Israeli army arrested four Palestinians in Bethlehem, in addition to a local resident in Jenin City.
Meanwhile in Jerusalem, Israeli police arrested three Palestinians. Court sessions will be held today for all three.
To be noted, Israeli police arrested around 36 Israeli Palestinians (1948 Palestinians) during confrontations inside Israel, PPC quoted a local activist, adding that some of them were released while others' detention was extended.
This brings the total number of Palestinians arrested since the beginning of the large-scale military and arrest campaign on June 12th to 1220 detainee.
