The Israeli army continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip, leaving at least 718 Palestinians dead and around 4,500 others injured, medical sources said Thursday.
The Israeli Army is intensifying its assault on the Gaza Strip, launching several airstrikes and ground attacks targeting what it claims as Palestinian military factions' strongholds and ammunition storage.
Yesterday, several world leaders and politicians, such as Russian President Vladimir Putin and US Secretary of State John Kerry, called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
UN Chief Ban Ki-Moon is visiting several key states in the region within the efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza.
The fighting broke out more than two week agos after three Jewish settlers were abducted and killed. Shortly later, a Palestinian teen was also kidnapped and his body found disfigured beyond recognition.
Israel says it has launched the military offensive on Gaza to destroy Hamas' missiles' arsenal and halt attacks on Israel and Hamas vows to carry on the fighting against the occupation.
