The Israeli occupation forces arrested today one Palestinian in the town of as-Samu south of Hebron after searching his house and tampering with its contents.
The forces also erected military checkpoints at the entrances to the towns of Idhna, Sair and Halhul, and at the entrance to the northern city of Hebron, stopping vehicles and inspecting the citizens' IDs.
Meanwhile, three families from in town of Jayyous, east of Qalqilya, were severely injured by tear gas fired by Israeli soldiers at houses in the town during the incursion.
The municipality's acting mayor Abdullah Al Khateeb told the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that the Israeli occupation forces have stormed the town every day from the evening until the first hours of the morning for nearly a month. The forces close the entrance, harass the citizens and fire tear gas indiscriminately at the houses.
The Israeli occupation forces also arrested today one Palestinian after raiding his house in Isawiya in the center of occupied Jerusalem, and took him to a detention and investigation center in the Holy city.
On the other hand, the Israeli occupation forces raided a number of houses and shops and erected a checkpoint on Haifa Street west of Jenin.
