At least 43 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip since midnight in different Israeli attacks. This second day of the ground invasion the Israeli Occupation Forces announced they would intensify their offensive that aims to destroy the rocket-launching infrastructure and the tunnels of the Palestinian resistance.
Shortly before, in the al-Zeytoun neighborhood of Gaza City, the Israeli army killed Mohammad and Hatem al-Zaabout in an airstrike.
Before them, in Deir al-Balah refugee camp, Abdulaziz Abu Zaitir and Mumen Taysir Abu Dan were killed in an Israeli shelling.
This early afternoon, the Israeli army fiercely attacked the area around the Beit Hanoun Hospital, killing five Palestinians and injuring many others.
Four members of the same family were killed in the shelling, Mahmoud Zuwaid, his wife Daliah, and their children Nagham, 3, and Ruyah, 2. Another Palestinian woman was also killed in the same attack.
Ma’an reports that three Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids on the central Gaza Strip on Saturday afternoon.
Earlier, also in Beit Hanoun, the Israeli army killed Mohammad Odeh Saadat, 25, and injured seven others, and in another attack, they killed three members of the same family.
In Khan Younis, the Palestinian civil defense rescue teams are recovering the bodies of ten Palestinians that were found under a destroyed home.
The Israeli Occupation Forces killed another Palestinian and injured several others in Khan Younis, when an Israeli airstrike hit a car in al-Qarara village.
During the night, Khan Younis suffered several attacks by the Israeli army that killed eight Palestinians and injured more than twenty, some of them seriously. The spokesperson of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qidrah, informed that the victims are Yahya Bassam al-Serri, 20, Muhammad Bassam al-Serri, 17, Mahmoud Ridha Salihiyya, 56, Mustafa Ridha Salihiyya, 21, Wasim Ridha Salihiyya, 15, Muhammad Mustafa Salihiyya, 22, Ibrahim Jamal Kamal Nasr, 13, and Khalid Nasr.
Later on in the morning, they bombed several houses killing Mohammad Ziad al-Ruhlal, a Palestinian child and Raed Walid Laqan, 27. Dozens were injured in these attacks.
Also in Khan Younis, the IOF killed Iyad Ismail al-Ruqab, 26, in Bani Suheila, and Amjad Salim Shaath, 15, succumbed to wounds he sustained in the Moraj neighborhood. His two brothers, Mohammad and Ahmed, were also killed in the same attack.
In Gaza City, the Israeli army killed Mohammad Abu Zaanouna, during a strike where five other Palestinians were injured.
Khalid al-Qarra died from wounds he sustained earlier on Saturday.
In central Gaza Strip, near the al-Bureij refugee camp, the IOF killed Said Ali Issa, 30, in the Juhor Addik neighborhood. In the north of the Strip, an Israeli missile killed Ahmad Mahmoud Aziz, 34, while he was in his home in Abraj al-Nada.
The Gaza health ministry said the death toll over 12 days now stands at 333. That figure includes 77 children, 24 women and 18 senior citizens, and that more than 2,385 people have been injured.
One Israeli civilian and one Israeli soldier have been killed since the campaign started on July 8, and several others wounded. The army said that the soldier was killed by friendly fire.
