Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite met here today with Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Attiyah on the sidelines of the two-day conference of Community of Democracies (CD), hosted by the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius. During the meeting Dr. Al-Attiyah conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani and HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and discuss relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them. Meanwhile, Lithuanian Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius met with Dr. Al-Attiyah who conveyed to him greetings of HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani. The meeting, which dealt with the development of bilateral relations and matters of mutual concern, was attended by Lithuanian Minister of Energy Arvydas Sekmokas . HE the Minister of State for International Cooperation also met with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Azubalis and Deputy Foreign Minister Asta Skaisgiryte Liauskiene to convey to them greetings of HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and to discussed with them ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of common concern. HE Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Attiyah headed the delegation of the State of Qatar to the conference of Community of Democracies.
