Kuwait's Prime Minister Shaikh Nasser Al Mohammad Al Ahmad Al Sabah will on Monday start a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) tour that will take him to Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE, Qatar and Bahrain. During his tour, he is expected to discuss with the leaders of fellow GCC members ways to strengthen bilateral relations and the latest regional and international developments, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said. "Kuwait has had robust historical bonds with other Gulf nations that are based on cooperation, solidarity and good neighborliness," the official agency said. "Firm ties between Kuwait and the Gulf nations have not been affected by any crisis or problem. On the contrary, the more trouble they had to face, the stronger their relations became." Shaikh Nasser last month was grilled by opposition lawmakers over alleged favourable bias towards Iran at the expense of Kuwait's relations with fellow GCC countries.
