Relevant parties should strengthen diplomatic efforts over the Iranian nuclear issue and resume talks as soon as possible, a Chinese diplomat said here on Wednesday. China advocates that a new round of nuclear talks between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany (G5+1) should be launched at an early date, said Huang Wei, deputy permanent representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Vienna. He pointed out that as the Iranian nuclear issue is both complicated and sensitive, dialogues and negotiations are the right way to its solution and conform to the common interest of all parties. "Adhering firmly to the approach of dialogues and negotiations in current situation bears significant meaning," Huang told a board meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). All sides should take concrete measures to establish mutual trust, so to create conditions for a comprehensive, long term and appropriate solution of the Iranian nuclear issue, Huang added
