Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Friday that any attempts to divide the Belarusian society, destabilize the situation in the country will fail.
The number of people who want to divide the society and destabilize the situation in Belarus will not decrease from day to day, and from year to year, Lukashenko said in a speech at the official meeting to mark the 100 anniversary of the formation of Belarusian police in Minsk.
"We should keep holding of our country and protect our people, and I am confident that we can do it. We will always have an appropriate response to any provocations," the Belarusian leader said.
He also added that the Interior Ministry and all law enforcement agencies bear huge responsibility for security and stable development of the country.
