Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa met on Wednesday with the NATO’s Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Transformation General Meiczyslaw Bieniek, currently on visit to Manama. The BDF chief lauded the Bahrain-NATO relations, affirming the need to consolidate bilateral cooperation and coordination further in order achieve common interests and promote security and stability across the region, state news agency /BNA/ reported. Also during the meeting, the two sides reviewed means of enhancing joint military cooperation and coordination, in addition to issues of mutual concern.
