Two children died and a woman was seriously wounded in a road accident, on Monday in the Al Farah neighbourhood in Tiflet, said the local authorities.
After leaving kindergarten, a girl and a boy, aged 5 and 3, were crossing the road with the help of the girl's mother when they were hit by a car, causing the immediate death of the two children, the same sources said.
The competent authorities ordered the arrest of the hit-and-run driver to bring him to justice, it added.
