Authenticity and Modernity Party guild “Democratic Labor Organization” asked Saad al-Din Al Ottomani’s government to immediately intervene to save Syrian refugees stuck at Moroccan – Algerian borders, and provide them with social and medical services in an attempt to avoid a humanitarian disaster on the western borders.
The guild said in a statement that, this call came to implement international conventions related to migration and asylum and to highlight Morocco’s humanitarian stand regarding immigrants’ issue. According to the statement, a lot of Syrian refugees are still trapped on the borders with difficult and dangerous circumstances that threaten their lives. These refugees were deported by the Algerian authorities towards the Moroccan lands amid the Moroccan government refusal to receive them.
