Spokesperson of Aden’s security forces revealed that they managed to control 235 explosive devices, 301 mines and 30 remote-control during 2016, saying that they also found a large number of documents that revealed plans adopted by the Yemeni insurgents to carry out terrorist operations and to make bombs and explosives.
He added that they also managed to arrest a large number of terrorist cells during the recent months, stressing that they were planning to execute extremist attacks against the Yemeni citizens in all over the country. He added they controlled stores containing a large amount of weapons, explosives and rockets. He added that they have platforms to launch rockets against the Arab Coalition camps.
He added that they also managed to arrest a large number of extremist elements loyal to ISIS and Qaeda, including experts working in the make of explosive devices. He praised the efforts exerted by the security forces in the country, saying that they perform a major role to restore the state of calm in large swaths of the country.
