Two film titles briefly appeared on the Golden Globe Awards website, prompting many to wonder if they will be the actual winners of the Best Drama and Best Comedy or Musical prizes Sunday night.
The names of the two movies are current nominees, but they appeared alongside photos of last year's winners -- 12 Years a Slave and American Hustle.
"While testing the official website of the Golden Globe Awards for Sunday's ceremony, Bluefin inadvertently took the test live," a company representative told Deadline Friday. "We randomly selected two film titles with no knowledge of the category winners. We are solely responsible for the error."
It is unlikely the company had access to the real winners list since the accounting firm of Ernst & Young is responsible for tallying the Globes votes and forbidden to reveal the winners to anyone until the event.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are to host the ceremony, which will honor excellence in film and television for 2014.
