The live-action fairytale Cinderella earned $70 million and the No. 1 spot at the North American box office this weekend, Rentrak announced Sunday.
Coming in at No. 2 for March 13-15 is Run All Night with $11 million, followed by Kingsman: The Secret Service at No. 3 with $6.2 million, Focus at No. 4 with $5.8 million and Chappie at No. 5 with $5.75 million.
Rounding out the top tier are The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel at No. 6 with $5.7 million, SpongeBob Squarepants: Sponge Out of Water at No. 7 with $4.1 million, McFarland, USA at No. 8 with $3.7 million, American Sniper at No. 9 with $2.93 million and The DUFF at No. 10 with $2.9 million.
