Egyptian singer Amal Maher revealed that she resumes working on her new album, stressing her keenness to choose unique ideas to present a distinctive album in the framework of her plan to achieve serious change in her career that it began with her recent albums years ago.
She added, in an interview with “Arabs Today”, that she likes to work quietly to present her best to the fans. She attributed the delay in the presentation of her new album to the consecutive changes that she made on it in addition to the personal conditions that pushed her to suspend work.
She expressed her pleasure for the notable success that her duet with singer Rashed Al Maguid has achieve, saying that it hit 25 million views on Youtube, signaling that she received the positive reactions on the clip from the fans and critics since the first hours of its presentation.
She added, “Rashed Al Maged is one of Arab major artists. It makes me happy to cooperate with him. The main reason behind our success is the duet’s decent idea. On the personal level, Rashed is respectful person so I am happy to gain his friendship.”
She praised her Gulf fans, saying that they represent a vital market in the singing career during the current period. As an Arab singer, she added, she has to pay attention to her Arab fans in all over the region.
She stressed that she does not care of competition with other artists, saying that she focuses only on choosing her works carefully to achieve success. She added, “Each artist has his own style in singing and also his own fans who like this style.”
She expressed her deep love to her son Omar, describing him as the most beautiful thing in her life. She stressed her keenness to contact with him permanently
