Lebanese star Razan Maghraby Cairo - Somaia Ibrahim Lebanese star Razan Maghraby revealed that she will be making a comeback on television again after an eight month absence. In an interview with Arabstoday, Razan said: “I am getting ready to appear again on the Egyptian channel “Al Hayat” in the coming period, in addition to recording an Egyptian song.” The latter song will be entitled “Sout Al Hayat” (Voice of Life) which will be composed by Helmy Bakr with Samira Saeed and Hany Shaker also on the vocals. Talking about the eight months she was away from the limelight, Razan said: “I felt like those eight months were eight years. I can’t live without doing what I love. I would stand in front of my mirror in my television attire and make-up and all I would be able to think about is shooting for work. I love working on television so much. I travelled to my parent’s home in London for three months and spent the rest of my time in Lebanon, but I definitely missed Egypt a lot.” Razan Maghraby’s new programme “Tanneh W Ghany” (Play and Sing) will be aired on Future TV. “Future Channel is like my home; it is the channel I started with,” she tells us. “When I was called to be part of the changes being made in preparing the new network, I agreed immediately. I thought about what programmes would work and correspond with me as a person. Luckily the programme has achieved a high viewing percentage and i am definitely happy with that.” Discussing her artistic experiences with actors like, Salah el-Saadany, Ahmed el-Sakka and Khaled el-Nabawy, Razan expressed her delight in working with such names adding: “I am proud to stand in front of the veteran actor Salah el-Saadany and I do really respect and love him. I have learnt a lot from him as well as from Ahmed el-Sakka. I was ecstatic that I was able to be part of the film “Harb Italya” (Italy’s War) with him. And of course, working with Khaled el-Nabawy has been a pleasure. I respect him so much.” Razan pointed out to that although she has received many new offers in Lebanon and Egypt, she is still thinking about them and has not taken any decisions as of yet.
