Egyptian artist Rania Youssif Cairo - Khaled Ali Egyptian artist Rania Youssif has told Arabstoday that she will submit a complaint to the Egyptian Filmmakers Syndicate against the shooting of the film Hala Nadrah, because the director is working in the interests of his divorced wife. Rania says that the director has forgotten his past work and this project is affecting her as an actress. She has accused him of removing a number of scenes from the film and replacing them with video clips for his former wife. Rania does not know the director's wife and says the filmmaker is serving her interests. Rania revealed that the director wanted to change the film’s name, adding that such a move would have had an impact on the main character, Nadrah, played by Rania. She believes that the director's ex-wife wants to be the central personality in the film. She added that she has not complained to the producer because it is his first project of this type. She added that she clashed with the director as he ignored her scenes and chose clips from his former wife. Rania says that the director's former wife, Rowan, pushed her daughter to play the role of Rania's sister during the film, meaning the director nullified the personality of her 18-year sister and turned her into a child. On a personal note, Rania said 2012 was a bad year for her. However, she is now close to working on a project with Egyptian superstar Ahmed Helmy, which she refused to reveal the details of.
